Collection, processing and use
Personal data are specific or personal details related to a particular or determinable natural person. They consist, for example, of your name, telephone number and address as well as all the basic data you indicate when you register and create your customer account.
1. Customer account
For all customers who register via the “Create an account” option, we create a customer account, i.e. a direct link to databases stored with us, protected by a password. Through your customer account you can consult and/or modify your personal data.
1.1. Creation of a customer account
These are the data required for the creation of a customer account :
– your email address
– your password
– your first name
– your surname
– your gender
– consent to the data protection policy
You only need to indicate your invoicing and delivery address when you place an order. To be able to process your order, we need your surname, address and correct payment data. We need your email address to confirm the reception of your order, and later its shipment, and generally to communicate with you. We also use your email address to identify you when you connect to your customer account.
2. Collection, processing and use of your personal data
We collect, record and process your data for the whole purchasing process, including for possible later guarantees, services, technical administration and marketing purposes specific to our company (for more information, see paragraph 2.3), and to fight against breaches and fraud. Your personal data will only be transferred to third parties if the law allows this for the purposes of performance of the contract and for invoicing purposes. Within the framework of processing an order, our suppliers receive from us the data needed for the processing of the order and the contract. Our suppliers may only use the data sent to the them for the performance of their mission.
3. Use of your data for advertising purposes
In addition to the processing of your data for the purchasing process in Sandexy, we also use them for the following ends: to communicate with you regarding your orders, about particular products or marketing actions, and to suggest products or services that may be of interest to you.
You may oppose the use of your personal data, either fully or partially, for advertising purposes at any time without paying any extra expenses except for data charges at base rates. A notification in text form sent to one of the addresses mentioned in paragraph 1 is sufficient to this effect.
To send you the newsletter, we use the email address you gave us when you created your customer account. For this purpose, we need you to confirm your consent to receive the newsletter as the holder of that email address.
If no longer wish to receive newsletters in future, you can desist at any time. All the emails sent by Sandexy include an unsubscribe link, allowing you to unsubscribe with just one click if you wish. If you prefer, you can send us a notification in text format to this effect to one of the addresses mentioned in paragraph 1.
